Rab Second Stitch midlayer and softshell repairs

With Second Stitch, we give your gear a second life by using recycled materials for repairs. If your Rab softshell or midlayer's zip is broken or no longer works smoothly, we’ll replace it with a fully functional zip that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill.

We always use the same durable YKK® zips as the original, though the colour may differ. Consider it a badge of honour—making your gear one-of-a-kind while proudly showcasing your commitment to reducing waste.

If your Rab midlayer or softshell's zip teeth look undamaged but your zip no longer closes, you may only require a zip slider replacement.

If you are unsure, please purchase a full zip replacement and we will credit you the difference if indeed it is only the slider that needs replacing.

A patch repair will fix most minor rips, punctures, or tears. This repair is suitable for Rab midlayers and softshells with small areas of damage less than 8cm x 6cm. For larger areas of damage, you might need a large patch repair.

If your Rab softshell or midlayer has sustained a serious injury greater than 8cm x 6cm, then a large patch is the most practical solution. For smaller areas of damage, you may only need a patch repair.
