Rab Second Stitch down and synthetic clothing repairs

With Second Stitch, we give your Rab gear a second life by using recycled materials for repairs. If your insulation's zip is broken or no longer works smoothly, we’ll replace it with a fully functional zip that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. We always use the same durable YKK® zip as the original, though the colour may differ. If your Rab down or synthetic insulated jacket's zip teeth look undamaged but your zip no longer closes, you may only require a zip slider replacement.

If you are unsure, please purchase a full zip replacement and we will credit you the difference if indeed it is only the slider that needs replacing.

If the adjustable cuffs on your down or synthetic jacket have been damaged or just need replacing after years of use, we can replace the cuff tabs and/or the hook-and-loop patches.

We'll repair both the cuff tabs and/or the hook-and-loop patches on one Rab item per repair purchased.

A patch repair will fix most minor rips, punctures, or tears. This repair is suitable for Rab down or synthetic jackets with small areas of damage less than 8cm x 6cm. For larger areas of damage, you might need a full panel replacement.

Panel repairs are for damage greater than 8cm x 6cm on down or synthetic Rab insulation. For smaller areas, see patch repairs.

Please note: one panel consists of damaged fabric on a single baffle, or multiple adjacent baffles. If you have damage across multiple panels, please purchase more than one repair. If the repair is straightforward, we will refund you on the time saved.
