Tyler Allen
Equally at home guiding clients in the mountains or focusing on personal climbing, Tyler enjoys sharing his passion of climbing with others. He started climbing on his own during high school in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Tyler and his climbing partner would get out of school and drive an hour south to the nearest cliffs and boulders to cut their teeth and make it through the learning curve alive.
In college, he ran cross country and track, and now puts his aerobic base to work pushing his limits on human-powered adventures in the mountains. Focusing on going light and fast, Tyler enjoys big days out in the mountains getting crushed.
Over the recent years, Tyler has found a balance between big personal adventures and guiding clients across the U.S..
When not ticking off routes at his home crags, Tyler takes his personal climbing on the road. In the past few years, he’s enjoyed spending part of his winters alpine climbing in Patagonia and taking fun sport climbing trips to the limestone cliffs of Europe.
Tyler is an AMGA Certified Rock and Alpine Guide living in Boulder, Colorado.
