Dave Searle
Dave is originally from the South West of England but is currently living with his young family out in Chamonix where he has been resident for the past 16 years. As an IFMGA mountain guide Dave is fully qualified to take people into the mountains, be it for skiing or climbing activities. He has a deep passion for growing and sharing his knowledge and frequently does through his channels on Instagram and Youtube. Over the years this content has reached millions and helped countless people on their journey into mountain sports.
For Dave being in the mountains is about moving safely and efficiently whilst having the most fun. Skiing is his number one passion but he is also an accomplished alpinist having made ascents of many of the biggest faces and ridges in the alps, some of which solo. In the past he has also been on expeditions to Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, The Yukon in Canada and New Zealand and always dreams of more trips in the future. He came to skiing later in life discovering his passion for sliding on snow at 19 years old, although most who ski with Dave don't believe it.
Paragliding and Mountain biking also feature heavily in Dave's day to day adventures and you'll frequently see him out on an alpine mission combining some or all of his sports. Dave is also currently working on a smartphone app project (Oak) that is focused on providing the outdoor community with a much better way to connect, plan and share their outdoor adventures.
