How do I wash a down jacket?
To wash a down jacket, use a front-loading washing machine on a gentle cycle with a specific down detergent. Avoid fabric softeners, as they can affect the jacket’s insulation. Always rinse thoroughly to ensure no detergent residue remains.

Is a down jacket waterproof?
Rab offers a range of jackets that are both waterproof and down-filled. However, not all down jackets are waterproof, so it's important to purchase the right jacket for the environment you'll be using it in.
Rab treats all down jackets with a water-resistant (DWR) coating to help repel light rain and moisture. If you expect heavy rain or wet conditions, wearing a waterproof shell over your jacket is best.
