Lachlan Gardiner is a climber and photographer who has worked extensively in New Zealand, Nepal and his native Australia. While he has shot photography in numerous styles and mediums, it is his passion for climbing, mountaineering and adventure photography that truly inspires him. This year, Lachlan took that passion to his first major Himalayan peak, Ama Dablam (6,812m). Climbing in expedition style, Lachlan and his team made a successful ascent of this iconic mountain with Lachlan documenting the entire expedition.
There is perhaps no better mountain he could have chosen on which to practice his art. Ama Dablam is an iconic summit with incredible, aesthetic lines that evoke the quintessential image of a Himalayan peak.
