Tech and features.
All the down we use in our products is finished with a Nikwax® hydrophobic treatment which helps to prevent the down from wetting out and maintains the breathability and insulating performance. Nikwax® Down Wash Direct is the only technical cleaner, specifically designed for hydrophobic and regular down, which cleans effectively while restoring water repellency. We recommend using Nikwax® Down Wash Direct every second or third wash to maintain DWR and revitalise the water repellency of the down.
Suitable for all down filled apparel and sleeping bags, it also helps to maintain the fill power and insulating performance of the down. Nikwax® Down Wash Direct protects against moisture and condensation too, preventing the down from soaking up water and maintaining the down’s natural insulating properties. Additionally, it revives breathability and improves overall performance in cold and damp conditions.
