The Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival is North America’s largest mountain festival. Taking place between October 27th and November 4th, the festival promises nine epic days filled with stories of remote journeys, ground-breaking expeditions, and cutting-edge adventures told through the eyes of adventurers, authors, photographers and filmmakers from around the globe.

As a presenting sponsor of the festival, we are proud to support the filmmakers and storytellers that make this event so special. To celebrate this year’s Festival, we have created a number of limited edition products that feature exclusive Banff branding.

Banff Stance Tee

The official festival t-shirt features artwork inspired by the home of the festival, the Banff National Park. Designed and created by John Fellows using the hands-on technique of linoleum carving, the unique design depicts mountains and trees springing to life from the pages of a book.

John will be signing limited edition prints of the t-shirt at the Rab booth on Sunday November 4th between 11am and 2pm.

Banff Microlight Jacket

Based on our incredibly popular Microlight Alpine, the official jacket of the festival comes in a unique Dijon/Deep Ink colorway and features the festival logo printed on the sleeve.

Alongside the exclusive festival clothing, we also have an exciting programme lined up to celebrate Banff 2018. We are pleased to welcome acclaimed mountain music band Rapidgrass to the Opening Night Party, and to sponsor both the Mountain Idol Award and the Mountaineering History Book Award.

Following the conclusion of the festival in Banff, the Rab Road Team will be hitting the road in support of the Banff World Tour, attending stops in Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest during the first three months of the tour. If you can’t make the festival itself, please come along and see us at one of these stops.

Banff Mountain Film Festival takes place between October 27th and November 4th. You can purchase tickets and view the complete programme on the festival website.
