We’ll wash one bag per Rab Sleeping Bag Wash purchased. That could be a real down or synthetic insulated Rab sleeping bag. If damaged, don't forget to purchase a repair here, as we can't put damaged insulated items through our wash process.

Washing a technical sleeping bag removes dirt, salts, and bacteria, which can all reduce performance and break down fabrics prematurely. We have years of experience washing insulated items, and whilst it’s relatively straightforward to put your gear through a machine, perfecting the drying can be a tedious business. In fact, the very properties that make your sleeping bag insulation effective at trapping heat, also encourage it to hold water. The professional drying process can take several hours.

Our expert team will have your sleeping bag gently washed, meticulously dried, and fully re-lofted. This will refresh and restore the insulation for the ultimate performance, ready for your next overnight mission.

The current turnaround time for our wash service is approximately 2 weeks from receipt of your item. For sleeping bags, this may be a little longer to allow for thorough down drying and re-circulation.
