Rab Second Stitch is our lowest impact repair option. The service offers many of the same expert fixes as our standard repairs service but uses end of life fabric roll ends, re-used and offcut materials. The contrasting fabrics and trims make Second Stitch items completely unique. Each one is finished with our exclusive badge representing your commitment to even more sustainable choices.
By selecting a Second Stitch repair over a regular, almost invisible repair, you’ll be reducing the use of raw materials and the impact of freight, while limiting waste fabric. Your renewed kit will be a one of a kind piece, ready for whatever adventures you throw at it.
Please note the current turnaround time for our repair service is approximately 2 weeks from receipt of your item.
How Second Stitch Works
1. Choose your Second Stitch repair
Select and purchase the type of Second Stitch you need and we will post a care card and prepaid postage label to you. The care card is for you to add details about the damage and any supporting information. Please allow up to 2-4 days for delivery by Royal Mail.
2. Post your item to us
Package your item securely, with the return postage label and barcode label clearly showing. Please use recycled packaging where possible. Be sure to include the completed care card within the package, or we may be unable to identify your return.
3. Sit back and relax
We’ll get down to the hard work repairing your kit while you plan your next adventure.
4. We post it back
Your fixed up kit will arrive at your door so you can get back to enjoying the mountains as soon as possible.
