The Climbing Works International Festival (CWIF) is a truly unique bouldering competition. Free to enter, the Rab CWIF is a fun and inclusive event open to any climber who wants compete and test themselves alongside some of the best climbers in the world.

Held over two days, with problems set by world-class route setters, the Rab CWIF is always a fun and entertaining event for competitors and spectators alike, with a free BBQ, giveaway’s, a raffle and, of course, a prize for the best-dressed team! This year is set to be a good as ever.

The Rab CWIF 2017 qualifying round will take place on Saturday 18th March at The Climbing Works in the form of a circuit of 30 flash problems and a team competition. The Semi-finals on Sunday the 19th March will see the top 20 women and the top 20 men narrowed down to 6 finalists of each gender who will then go on to compete for the title of Rab CWIF champion.

The Rab CWIF is one of the headline events of the action-packed weekend that is The Outdoor City Weekender. Alongside Sheffield Adventure Film Festival (ShAFF), The Magnificent Seven hill climb challenge, and a brilliant line-up of fringe events, The Rab CWIF is part of an exciting celebration of Sheffield’s outdoor culture and heritage.
