Microlight Down Jacket: I absolutely loved having the Microlight with me. At times, it got very cold and as soon as you slipped into the warm down jacket you could instantly feel it retaining the heat. It is super comfortable; I especially love the fleece liner at the chin area. Best of all, it’s made of recycled materials, helping to reduce our carbon footprint.
Nexus Jacket: This is probably my most used item from Rab. It is super functional, expertly made and fits so well that I wear it almost daily around town. I love the colour and the texture of the jacket.
Radius Pants: Most people would never guess that this is a highly functional climbing pant as it looks so smart and fits very well. But as soon as you start climbing you notice the stretch material and rugged construction; features that I really appreciate in a pant for sport climbing.
Stance T-Shirts: I usually prefer the feeling of cotton for sport climbing in mild temperatures, especially if it doesn’t involve a long approach. For this, the Stance T-Shirt collection is perfect, they fit really well, they are super comfortable and not too heavy. I like the whole collection, but especially the vintage logo. As they are made from organic cotton, you know that they are produced sustainably.
Pulse T-Shirts: For warmer weather or longer approaches where I know that transpiration is everything, I always take a Pulse T-Shirt. It feels super lightweight and dries very fast. I love that it is incredibly versatile, one technical t-shirt for everything. You can wear it alone or as a base layer and there is a great selection of colours so you can make sure that it’s going to pair perfectly with the rest of your kit.
Torque Light Pants: These pants are amazing for warm weather climbing and mountaineering. Incredibly comfortable, they keep the wind away from your legs and breathe extremely well so you don’t overheat.
Outcast 44L Climbing Pack: We really liked this backpack to throw all the climbing gear and ropes in quickly. It has become our favourite pack for sport climbing as it holds everything and has such clean lines once it is closed. At the crag it is easy to leave stuff laying around and it can get messy quickly, so having one giant bag to keep everything organized and tidy helps a lot when it’s time to get going again.
