All Mountain Hem™
Designed to adjust to fit the requirements of different types of mountain footwear. Engineered hem adjustment is sized to accommodate most ski-mountaineering or ski-touring footwear when opened. When closed down the hem and lower leg are sized to fit over winter climbing boots while avoiding excess fabric that could cause a snagging or tripping risk.
A water repellent zipper. It is created by coating PU on the backside of a coil zipper. There are three types of film variations: shiny transparent film, matte transparent film and matte colored film with a high quality appearance.

Cirrus™ powered by 3M Featherless insulation
Cirrus™ is a new, breakthrough insulation that combines almost all the key benefits of natural down and synthetic fillings, while avoiding their limitations. Technical, water resistant fibres are expanded into a “down-like” structure, to create a cloud of warmth. Cirrus™ has been extensively tested in development to deliver the same warmth for its weight as 600 Fill Power duck down. Unlike other synthetic insulation it lofts freely to trap warmth. It compresses well when packed and is robust and durable. Its resistance to moisture, warmth when wet and speed of drying are very high: superior even to Hydrophobic Down and previous man-made insulations. Powered by 3M Featherless technology.
Durable Water Repellency – C6 – PFOA-free
There has been a recent move throughout the outdoor industry to replace c8 (8-carbon chain fluorocarbons) on DWR coatings to c6 (6-carbon chain) due to the potentially harmful perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) produced in the production of c8 fluorocarbons. All Rab® DWR coatings are c6 and are c8 free.
EN13537 is a European standard designed to standardise the temperature ratings on sleeping bags manufactured and/or sold in Europe. Our sleeping bags are rated using EN13537:2012 results.

Escape Artist™ pit zips
Extra long ventilation zips to vent core heat during periods of intense activity. The length of the zips means that you can take your arms completely out of the jacket. When your activity means that removing the garment is not an option combine this with unzipping the front opening for almost the same benefit. Loose sleeves can be retained under rucksack straps.
